Opportunities have arisen for experienced Forensic Collision Investigators to join a highly motivated and innovative team based throughout the UK. The role will involves conducting in-depth investigations of collisions and other subject related matters for both the Criminal and Civil sector. The nature of this work requires resilience, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of the UK legal system.

Successful candidates will be based UK wide with travel expected throughout the UK and Ireland.

Role

To provide and deliver Expert services to clients to the highest standards.

The applicant will be required to:

  • Prepare Expert Collision Investigation Reports to clients.

  • Comply fully with the entire Criminal/Civil process for the provision of Expert services.

  • Work autonomously in that function, managing both time and calendar.

  • Attend the locus of collisions (or similar) at times of relevance to the incident (e.g. early in the morning / late at night).

  • Comply with GDPR requirements where necessary.

  • Maintain CPD.

  • Contribute to the expansion of the ARC Investigations client base.

  • Communicate clearly with the entire ARC Investigations team.

  • Present as a role model for the company being positive, inspirational and highly visible with technical ability.

  • Maintain and promote the values of ARC Investigations at all times.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Have at least 5 years’ experience in investigating collisions and vehicle examination.

  • Knowledge of key principles of collision investigation and developments within the discipline.

  • Relevant training and experience in forensic video analysis.

  • Experience in producing technical reports with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills, with experience presenting evidence in Court.

  • Ability to plan and prioritise work.

  • Full UK driving licence.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Investigate road collisions and vehicle-related incidents.

  • Prepare and deliver high-quality forensic reports for public and private sector clients.

  • Present evidence in Civil and Criminal Courts.

  • Maintain strong client relationships and provide expert advice.

  • Full UK driving licence.

 

Desirable

  • Degree in Engineering or relative subject for these posts.

  • Experience retrieving and analysing vehicle electronic data (EDRs, telematics).

  • Understanding in the inspection of electric vehicles and related safety protocols.

  • Experience and training in 3d laser scanning.

  • Knowledge and training in ScenePro.
